Facebook Lite is announced on Facebook blog with a message to make the largest community of web experience new features. Upon discovering the look of Facebook lite it looks quite familiar. It looks like a copy of Twitter.

Interestingly, it was only yesterday morning when almost every blog online not only reported the launch of new service from the house of Facebook but noticed a twitter look-a-like service page.

Link and name is quite easy to remember, though this service is not available to all Facebook members. Instead Facebook opted to test it with India based members. Members selected for this service will receive a notification like this reading text

This feature is the result of Friendfeed’s acquisition by Facebook, which not only enabled Facebook users to search the timelines of other users more effectively and once again quite similar Twitter. Facebook is no doubt will end up in developing its own twitter like network to kill the twitter itself.

This recent developing feature from Facebook reminds us about the acquisition deal between Facebook and Twitter which Twitter refused and chose to monetize its service later this year.
