Create quality content—You aren’t going to trick people into reading or subscribing to your blog. If you want to build a loyal reader base, you need to produce quality content. Period.

Make sure to include buttons for the most popular social networks and any niche networks that are relevant to your blog. Promote your posts on social voting websites—You need to promote your posts on voting sites like Digg, ReddIt, Mixx, StumbleUpon, and other similar websites. This can help drive traffic and build awareness for your blog.
