Now you can download Facebook Messenger for Windows as an app which let you chat with your friends without getting logging into your account using any of the web browser. It opens as a standalone application requiring a simple installation. This is released by Facebook itself for Windows users.

This app lacks some options as developers have tried to make it simple for chatters. With this app you will not be able to do group chat on Facebook neither change any privacy settings even you will not be able to modify friend lists.
